Think,feel,say,do

I know Lominger has 67 core competencies. There’s really only 4 though – thinking, feeling, saying, doing. The 67 are variations on a theme. While no-one needs to be strong on all 67,  we all need to be strong on the 4.

If we’re weak on thinking, you may end up saying and doing the wrong things.

If we’re weak on feeling, you may not be able to engage others in doing the right things.

If we’re weak on saying, we may not be able to shape others’ thinking and doing.

If we’re weak on doing, we may not be seen as credible.

Our personal development plans should focus on developing these 4 competencies.

Great Bernie the other 63 are only good for soothing sore throats. Lomenger is another dogma sweeping Government. Rgds Jeremy

Isn’t saying and doing the same thing? Both are actions in the world.

A say/do ratio of a 100%! In practice though what we say and what we do (behaviours) are often different. “Of course I love you Simon!” Technically you’re right though, both are actions.

Those four are a neat summary. I’d like to explore them more. Or at least think about them more :)

A good way to develop the ‘feel’ competency is through acting classes. I can recommend someone if you’re interested.
